Rachael Wilson comes from a local farming family and has grown up with a love for the outdoor life.

Rachael learnt to ride aged eight and had her first pony when she was ten this pony lead to more equine friends all of which she cared for herself at local livery yards. She left school and went straight into full time employment at a local riding school, where she had been working part time whilst at school. She trained for and gained her British Horse Society Assistant Instructor and soon showed a flare for teaching children.

Rachael then took a year out travelling and working in New Zealand gaining valuable experience in a Thoroughbred Stud working with Brood Mares, Foals, Young stock and Race Horses. When Rachael returned from New Zealand she imported Welsey a New Zealand Thoroughbred with whom she had much success showing in New Zealand as a Show Hack reaching the New Zealand Horses of the Year Show.

Rachael trains with Andrew Murphy BHS II and Grand Prix Dressage Rider on both Welsey and Annie Geary's horse Spuddie, an 8 year old Andulusian. She is hoping to gain more experience competing in 2009 with both horses following her passion for Dressage. She also hopes to gain her BHS Intermediate Instructor Certificate and BHS stage 4 in the near future.

Rachael trains and organises the Mushrooms and Mini's at Cowdray Pony Club and is a very popular Instructor amongst the children within the Cowdray Pony Club.
