Christine Gay learnt to ride in a Riding School in West Sussex and went on to
Brinsbury College in 1992 to gain her BHS AI. She then spent 16 years working
within the Equine Industry gaining valuable experience.
During this time she completed further BHS exams now holding the BHS stables
Managers and Teaching Certificate. She is currently studying a Degree in Equine
Studies through distance learning and planning to complete her BHS I next year.
Christine has competed in Affiliated Dressage to Elementary Level and up to
Pre-Novice Horse Trials qualifying for several major National Championships.
She has received training from some of the best international coaches including
Arthur Kotas and Stephan Clarke, being coached regularly by Andrew Murphy and
Jonty Evans.
Christine's real passion is teaching and loves to teach riders
of all abilities from beginners to competitive riders, both children and adults.
She is looking forward to her new challenge at Waterloo Farm and will continue
to teach on and off site whilst taking care of the liveries with her
business partner Rachael Wilson.
Christine's instruction & continued support has enabled
me to turn my problem horse into a willing individual who
took me to my (and his) first ever RC one day event last
year, where we finished 8th.
